Prospect Heights

Perfect for sports fans, concertgoers, and avid shoppers, Prospect Heights is the small neighborhood home to the Barclays Center and the Atlantic Center Mall.  Bound by Flatbush Avenue, Eastern Parkway, Washington Avenue, and Grand Army Plaza, the neighborhood has a lot to offer.  Containing an interesting mix of modern high-rise apartment buildings, and smaller traditional brownstones, there are plenty of options when it comes to purchasing a home.

On Flatbush Avenue, you can find many of hip, modern cafés, restaurants, bars, boutiques, gourmet shops, and more, ensuring that there is always a new place for you to visit if you are craving something different than your usual haunts.  The area even has a restaurant opened by Michelin Star winning chef, Saul Bolton, called The Vanderbilt.

After getting tired from walking around and checking out all the shops, then just retreat home to the quiet side streets on which most people reside, or escape the city life by checking out the Brooklyn Museum of Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, both of which this neighborhood proudly boasts.

If you are looking to relax, head to any of the many yoga studios in the area, and check out one of the boutique wine shops afterwards.  If yoga isn’t your thing, then Prospect Park is not far away, and is always a great place to go for a run or to simply lounge around in.

Transportation in the area will never be a problem, as the neighborhood is serviced by the 2,3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, R, and W trains.  If you are looking to head out to Long Island for the day, then the LIRR is also close by, located inside the Atlantic Terminal which is connected to the Barclays Center.
